Cancellation Policy

Subscriptions
When you purchase a subscription, you will receive one letter each month. This is based on the subscription duration and frequency that you select. *Please see our Terms of Service for more details.
 
Your payment details will be stored securely, and you'll be charged for each of these deliveries on a monthly basis. If you purchased a 6-month or yearly subscription, you will only be charged once at the beginning of your subscription term as a prepaid charge, and you will receive one letter per month for the duration of your subscription.

All subscriptions will auto-renew at the end of their duration, with the exception of those designated as non-renewing gift subscriptions. If you don't want to renew a subscription you must cancel it BEFORE the next renewal date. 

If you want to cancel or change your subscription, you can do it at any time in your account dashboard. If you did not create an account at checkout, you will need to contact us at info@writingsfromthewild.com to cancel your subscription.

When you cancel your subscription, you will still be shipped any remaining letters on a monthly basis until your subscription duration expires. For example, if you ordered a 6-month subscription and choose to cancel after 4 months, you will still receive the remaining 2 months. Your subscription will not renew if you cancel.

If you are on the monthly subscription plan and cancel after your payment for the month processes, you will still receive the shipment you already paid for, but you will not be charged again or receive any future month's shipments. For example, all monthly plans are charged automatically on the 5th of the month, beginning at midnight CDT. If you cancel your subscription at 3:00 AM CDT, it is considered canceled after the payment has processed. You will still receive that letter, but you will not be charged again, and your renewal will be canceled. If you need the charge to be canceled, you MUST email us.

By ordering a subscription, you acknowledge and agree that pausing a subscription does not cancel it. This will only postpone the charge/shipment until the date you choose.
